Master and degree in law from Esade University in Barcelona ( 2007). 


Master of business administration from the University of Hult International School in London ( August 2016). 


Mercedes started her professional career in September 2007 at Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira law firm in Barcelona where she worked until January 2014 focusing her professional practice in Private Client department and obtaining extensive experience in national advice to family groups, both from the perspective of their personal taxation and their corresponding financial and business investments.

In September 2014 she joined Foment del Treball of Barcelona as an external consultant for the elaboration of a comparative report on Wealth Tax and Inheritance and Donation Tax on a European and regional level. The conclusions were published in several national and international press media.

In March 2017 she joined the People Services department of KPMG in Madrid office, continuing with the advice on family business and major private clients from an international perspective and, at the same time, completing her career in the area of international movement of impatriates and expatriates.

Finally, in February 2021 she joined Mavens tax department, focusing her practice on national and international tax advice to individuals and family groups.
