 ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Silvia holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from ICADE – Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (E-3).

Master’s Degree in Digital Law and Disruptive Technologies from the Centro de Estudios del Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (2024-2025).

Executive Programme in Corporate Restructuring, Refinancing and Insolvency, Instituto de Empresa (2021).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Partner at Mavens (2020). She provides comprehensive advice to companies and entrepreneurs. She regularly intervenes in M&A and corporate restructuring transactions, including company acquisitions and transfers, mergers, spin-offs and other restructuring transactions, capital increases and reductions, business and asset contributions, and asset restructuring. She advises companies in various sectors on corporate matters, assisting them in the drafting of shareholders’ agreements and in the design of internal corporate governance regulations, as well as capital and director remuneration systems. She is the non-director secretary of several companies. On a recurring basis, she also advises clients on the drafting and negotiation of contracts of all kinds, including the purchase and sale of movable and immovable property, joint ventures and strategic alliances, financing, the provision of all kinds of services, technology contracts, distribution, leases, etc.

She also has extensive experience in advising companies in various sectors on the design and implementation of corporate compliance programmes and legal risk assessment systems.

She is a lecturer at the Instituto de Empresa and at the Centro de Estudios del Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid.

She began her career as a lawyer at Uría Menéndez in 2004, focusing her professional practice in the commercial area, mainly on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and the securities market.
